Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to all orders placed with Continental Graze (“we”, “us”, “our”).

 

By confirming a booking, you (“the Client”) agree to be bound by these terms.

 

1. Booking & Deposit:

1.1 A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of: A completed booking form (if applicable), and A non-refundable deposit of 30–50% of the total quoted price.

 

1.2 Until the deposit is received, your date is not secured.

 

1.3 Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

 

2. Payment Terms:

2.1 The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

2.2 For bookings made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required upfront.

 

2.3 We reserve the right to cancel services if payment is not received by the due date.

 

2.4 All prices are stated in GBP (£). If VAT registered, VAT will be clearly stated on your invoice.

 

3. Cancellations (Consumer Bookings):

3.1 If you cancel:

  • 14+ days before event – refund of payments made minus deposit 7–13 days before event – 50% of total invoice payable

  • Less than 7 days before event – 100% of total invoice payable

 

3.2 Deposits are non-refundable as they secure your date and cover administrative and preparation costs.

3.3 If we must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of monies paid.

 

4. Corporate / Business Bookings:

For business-to-business contracts, cancellation terms may differ and will be outlined in your invoice or contract.

 

5. Amendments to Orders:

5.1 Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days before the event.

 

5.2 Guest count reductions within 7 days will not reduce the final balance.

 

5.3 We reserve the right to substitute items of equal quality and value due to seasonal availability or supplier issues.

 

6. Delivery & Setup:

6.1 Delivery fees are based on mileage and location and will be confirmed in advance.

 

6.2 The Client must provide: Safe and reasonable access to the venue Adequate table space for setup A suitable environment (away from direct heat/sunlight)

 

6.3 We are not liable for delays caused by venue restrictions, traffic, or access limitations outside our control.

 

7. Equipment Hire & Damage:

7.1 All grazing boards, stands, knives, props and styling equipment remain our property.

 

7.2 The Client is responsible for: Loss Theft Damage beyond reasonable wear and tear

 

7.3 Replacement costs will be invoiced at current retail value.

 

8. Food Safety & Hygiene:

8.1 We operate in compliance with:

  • The Food Safety Act 1990 Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2013 (or relevant devolved equivalent)

  • Local Authority Environmental Health requirements

 

8.2 Once delivered and set up, responsibility for food safety transfers to the Client.

 

8.3 Food containing dairy and cured meats should not be left unrefrigerated for more than 4 hours.

 

8.4 We are not liable for illness resulting from:

  • Improper storage Consumption beyond recommended timeframes

  • Cross-contamination after setup

 

9. Allergens & Dietary Requirements:

9.1 Our products may contain or come into contact with:

  • Nuts

  • Dairy

  • Gluten

  • Eggs

  • Sulphites

  • Other allergens

9.2 While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

 

9.3 It is the Client’s responsibility to inform guests of allergen risks.

 

10. Consumer Rights:

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If services are not provided with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a price reduction or repeat performance where appropriate.

 

11. Force Majeure:

We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather

  • Government restrictions

  • Venue closure

  • Supply chain disruption

  • Acts of God

 

12. Photography & Marketing:

We may photograph our work for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for photographs of your event to be used, please notify us in writing prior to the event date.

 

13. Data Protection (UK GDPR):

We collect and process personal data solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and complying with legal obligations. We will not share your data with third parties except where required by law or necessary to fulfil your booking.

 

14. Governing Law:

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

Acceptance By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
